You are the 1st person who's blog I've read that had braces. I had braces put on before my surgery to help stabalize during surgery. Some days I get really discouraged. I am 6 months post op. I have difficulity eating most foods and I am still sticking to mostly soft food. The orthodontist says a lot of the reason I have difficulty eating is the braces and when he takes them off I will see a big difference. I also have pain on my left jaw. It appears lower in the mirror and I can feel that it is lower with out looking. I go to my surgeon on Aug 24th 2010. The left side is also sunk in in that area where there is pain. I sure hope he can do some thing to help. I had mine done in my home town of Louisivlle, KY. I know yours was done at the Emory Clinic. It sound like you have had really good results. It was windy and cold here in Valdosta yesterday and rained just about all day. It made setting up for the bridal show a bit more complicated. We had 30x55 inch prints that were mounted to be light weight so they really loved the wind as loaded them after the show was over. Although the weather was bad we had a great turnout which always seems to be the case. I guess shopping or going to something like a bridal show is about all there is to do in this kind of weather.
